About Tracy
"Hello! I'm teacher Tracy and I'm excited to teach you Canadian English. I've been teaching adults for 20 years, and for 5 years, I’ve taught English as an alternative language.
As a native English speaker and Canadian, I can give you a deep understanding of our language and culture.
I'm a kind and caring teacher, and my classes are focused on conversations with many resources to keep you engaged.
If you want to focus on grammar, pronunciation, or academic writing, don't worry, I'm here to help you.
Let's get started on this language journey and have some fun along the way!"

I believe that in a successful learning situation, both the learner and the teacher grow together in a symbiotic pedagogical relationship. In my classes, you will find learners freely expressing what they know and what they wish to learn as I work with them as a facilitator, mentor, and guide. The best way to accomplish this is through a communicative and task-based approach as it allows for learner-centred activities and a dynamic environment. My teaching style is an enthusiastic Canadian English native speaker helping learners to master Canadian English language communication at their pace and according to real-world tasks.
