About May
I have extensive experience teaching both online and in-person, working with a diverse range of students in Indonesia and New Zealand as a Chinese language educator. Skilled in teaching both adults and children, I design engaging, interactive lessons that keep students motivated and actively involved. I am proud to have been awarded first prize in the International Chinese Teacher Competition and have successfully coached many students to achieve outstanding results in Chinese language competitions. Additionally, I have helped numerous learners pass the HSK Level 4 and 5 exams with excellent scores.

My lessons focus on developing all language skills—listening, speaking, reading, and writing—with special attention to improving oral fluency. I have rich experience teaching HSK levels 1 to 9 and supporting students through successful exam preparation. My specialties include Business Chinese and daily conversation, helping learners gain practical language skills they can use in real-life work and social situations.
