After graduating from the University of Waterloo, she completed Seneca College's rigorous 2-year program in Cosmetic Techniques and Management. With over 10 years of experience as a freelance makeup artist, she has perfected the naturally glam makeup look that her clients love. I booked two makeup lessons with Betty through her studio - Bets Beauty Studio. The first class was in-person, and the subsequent session was remedial and held online.
My background: I am a complete novice at makeup, and needed someone to get me quickly up to speed. Betty did some prep work before our lesson to study my features, and both classes went smoothly. We covered skincare + base makeup first, then moved to eyes and lips.
Betty answered all my questions with care and patience. She made makeup approachable and fun, giving her professional tips. I could tell she is so passionate about helping others look their best.
