About Damon
I am a certified mathematics teacher with a Master’s degree in Mathematics Education and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science. I currently teach high school mathematics and have experience helping students with different learning styles and ability levels.
My background allows me to teach both mathematics and computer science while connecting difficult concepts to practical, real-world examples. I believe students learn best when complex ideas are broken down into simple, understandable steps.
I am patient, supportive, and focused on helping students build confidence, improve their grades, and become more independent problem-solvers.

My lessons are personalized to meet each student at their current level and build from there. I focus on breaking difficult concepts into clear, step-by-step explanations and giving students plenty of guided practice before they work independently.
As a certified math teacher with a Master’s degree and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, I can tutor Algebra, Geometry, Statistics, Precalculus, Calculus, and Computer Science. I work with middle school, high school, and college-level students, including students who need help with homework, test preparation, catching up, or getting ahead.
My goal is not just to help students get the right answer, but to help them understand why the answer works and build confidence solving problems on their own.
