About Madeeha

My lessons are personalised to the student’s level, learning needs, and goals. I begin by identifying what the student already understands and where support is needed. I then use clear explanations, questioning, diagrams, visual representations, real-life examples, and guided practice to build understanding and confidence. My focus is not only on finding the correct answer, but also on helping students explain their reasoning and apply what they have learnt independently.
A typical lesson lasts 50 minutes and includes a short review, focused teaching, guided and independent practice, and feedback on the next steps.
I am a New Zealand-registered teacher with more than 10 years of teaching and curriculum experience in the UK and the UAE. I hold a Bachelor of Education and a Master’s degree in Molecular Biology with Biotechnology.
My lessons are designed for secondary-school Mathematics and Biology students, particularly those studying Grades 9–12, GCSE, IGCSE, Common Core Mathematics, AS-Level, or A-Level Biology. I support students who want to strengthen foundational knowledge, address learning gaps, improve their grades, or prepare for examinations.
