About Caley
I am a lifelong learner who believes the best education is found in creative, hands-on, and rich learning tasks. I enjoy reading, going for walks, playing board games, and spending time with my friends and family. I rotate through hobbies often, as I am at my best when I am busy. I genuinely love connecting with other people, and my students are by far my favorite part of my job. I hope I get the chance to work alongside you and help you to reach your learning goals!

Hello! My name is Caley and I am an Ontario Certified Teacher in the primary/junior divisions (kindergarten - grade 6). I believe that teaching is a true vocation, and that each learner should feel joy for education. I love to create lessons based on student interest and strengths, and I always incorporate social-emotional learning skills to boost student problem solving, resiliency, and self-regulation.
In addition to my basic teaching qualifications, I have completed the following additional qualification courses to heighten my teaching practices:
- Special Education (Part 1)
- Math (Part 1)
- Reading (Part 1 and Part 2)
I am very flexible in terms of the hours I can work during the summer, and am willing to stay on as an occasional tutor once the school year begins - we will find a solution that works to ensure your student feels supported.
