About Julia
In college, I had field experience in different low-income schools where I observed different teachers and occasionally planned and taught lessons. From there, I became a student teacher at a lottery school year-round where I planned and taught all subjects to children ages 8 to 9. I finished teaching my student through an international teaching program in Belize. As a certified K-6th grade teacher, I have taught 6-9 years at two different low-income schools for 3.5 years. Since January 2020, I have taught English at two different schools in Madrid, Spain.

Teaching is my passion! I love to form a relationship with my students. With mutual respect and trust, students can learn to the best of their ability. I'm always looking for new ways to keep learning fun and exciting! When I teach English, I make sure I speak slowly and clearly. I have a lot of patience and pride myself on never judging my students and their skill level. We will work together to progress!
