About April

I am a certified teacher with a Master’s degree in Special Education and over 15 years of classroom and online teaching experience. My professional background includes supporting students with dyslexia, ADHD, autism, and other learning differences. Families describe me as patient, creative, and encouraging, with a gift for breaking down difficult skills into achievable steps. I bring structure, warmth, and evidence-based strategies to every lesson, ensuring that each child feels confident and supported. My priority is student growth, independence, and success.

About the lesson

I design engaging, personalized lessons that build confidence in reading, writing, and math for elementary students, including those with ADHD, dyslexia, autism, or other unique learning needs. Each lesson combines multi-sensory strategies, structure, and encouragement, while targeting individual goals. I focus on helping children master foundational skills, strengthen executive functioning, and discover the joy of learning. Lessons are interactive, student-centered, and always tailored to your child’s pace and interests so progress feels motivating and achievable.
