About JORDAN

I am a certified professional educator with 18 years experience, with 10 of those teaching high school students in English courses, including literature, writing, grammar, and AP Language and Composition.

I conduct my courses with my students' best interest in mind. Your learning is important to me, and I encourage healthy and frequent discussion about the course topics so you fully understand the material.

About the lesson

This course will prepare you to be successful on the AP English Language & Composition exam. I review the basics of the AP Language course and provide examples and practice materials for the test.
Areas covered in the course:
1. rhetoric
2. literary terminology
3. author tone
4. schemes and tropes
5. understanding the synthesis essay, rhetoric essay, and argument essay

This is the same material that I have taught for 10 years. I have a great understanding about AP Language and Composition.
