About Kelsey

I strive to foster success for every learner through effective differentiation, technology integration, hands-on learning, and effective relationship building. I received top scores in my graduate program’s blind observation process, and have measurably increased student engagement at both of the charter schools where I’ve taught. I consider myself an advocate for students and work to develop relationships based on trust and empathy. I see students as whole people, and it is important to me all of my students feel safe, empowered, and challenged.

About the lesson

As a motivated educator with a ten year track record of nurturing student growth, driving equitable practices, and building culture, I support students as a whole. I approach curriculum with a focus on critical thinking, investigation, and student led growth.

Kelsey is a fantastic teacher. She caters to students' individual needs and challenges them. I appreciated that she worked on not only immediate skills, but also background learning gaps, and lagging skills.

Kelsey grounds her practice to work with any student no matter their current skills not only by meeting them where they are in their learning, but my working to build a strong base of skills for cross-curricular learning at all ages.
