About Jade
I am currently a 4th and final year BA(Hons) TESOL and Korean student who has obtained her TrinityCERT Level 5 Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages. I am fluent in English and Tagalog and Intermediate in Korean. As a language student in Korean myself, I can relate to other students who may be learning English as a foreign language for example and apply my experiences in my teaching style. Other than that, I just hope for my students to enjoy learning, be confident in using the language and to be able to help them learn!

To be able to gain my teaching certificate, I taught students online from other nationalities both Beginners’ level and Upper Intermediate. I gained experience in online teaching and private tutoring through this and understand ways to teach and keep student engaged in a non-classroom setting as a student and teacher myself. I communicate with my students to be able to meet their needs for each lessons and focus on skills that they intend to improve on.
