About Aurelie
I have always been attracted by the Asian/oriental culture, their mythologies, their spiritual practices. I think the first yoga book I bought was about 15 years ago but it is only 5 years ago that I opened the door of a yoga studio. I was always looking at Yoga practitioners as some kind of extra flexible, strong alien that I could not be ;), until I had that one class that changed everything.
I started connecting on a deeper level with the practice, connecting on a deeper level within myself.
To be honest, spiritual practices helped/are helping me to cope with many challenges in life, to face and heal emotional and psychological traumas, to understand and accept the process I am living.
Yoga helps me to understand my true nature and my purpose in this life, to my eyes, it's a life-transforming experience, and that is the reason I decided to start teaching. To be able to share around me everything that I know, bring some peace to the heart and mind of my student, learn and grow together.

Welcome to Yoga with Lili!
I am a enthusiastic certified yoga instructor committed to the physical, emotional and spiritual well-being of her students.
My goal is to create an environment where students feel supported, encouraged, and safe, as well as challenge them while remaining sensitive to their individual needs and goals at all times.
I am used to work 1:1 with students, nurture their motivation and enhance their personal performance goals, as well as running classes up yo 20 students.
I share yoga classes for all level, including student that have never practice yoga, let's start together :)
The style of yoga I usually share is Vinyasa yoga, a style of yoga in which the practitioner flows and evolves to the rhythm of breathing, creating "a dance", since each inhalation and exhalation creates a specific movement.
Each class is about 60-75min:
- In the yoga tradition, the breath is said to carry a person's life force. Every classes will start with pranayama, a practice that involves the management or control of the breath, which the intention of grounding, relaxing ourselves.
- Then we will mix different asanas (postures), gently working on flexibility, strength, balance and presence, always being connected to our breathing.
- The final posture will be Savasana, which is the relaxation pose that helps integrating the practice, releasing, healing..
I always try to give my classes a guided relaxation during Savasana for a few minutes, and use tibetan bowl or deep relaxation music, as I think it can really help you tune out of your talking mind and help you bring the mind to some kind of stillness.
Classes can be tough in english, spanish and french, in person in Port Douglas or online.
