About Fran
I am a PhD student studying solutions for carbon capture in the department of Chemical Engineering at Imperial College London, having recently graduated from the MEng course too. I studied Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Chemistry at A Level (achieving A*, A*, A* and A respectively) alongside an EPQ titled ‘What are the future prospectives of graphene in post combustion carbon capture technologies in the near future?’ of which I achieved an A* grade. I am passionate about STEM subjects and am thrilled to be given the opportunity to share my knowledge amongst a likeminded community.

I provide a tailored tutor experience whether the students wish to start from square one or excel in their exams. Pre-lesson I communicate with my students on what they would like to cover so I can arrive prepared and utilise the session to the full. I help my students not only understand and thrive in their chosen subjects, but to truly enjoy them.

Fran has been teaching me A-level Maths for the past few months and I've noticed a significant improvement in my performance in the subject already. She's a great tutor due to her caring nature and great attention to detail. She has an amazing ability to break down complex ideas and explain them in an approachable way.
Fran is a great tutor as she very kind and encouraging. She really gets to know her tutees and figures out how to make their tutoring sessions specific and relatable to the them. I would highly recommend Fran.
