About Leonardo
With a strong academic background and years of experience in both science and education, I am passionate about helping students reach their full potential. I hold a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Environmental Engineering, a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering, and have worked as a researcher and project coordinator in Canada. My experience has allowed me to develop not only a deep understanding of scientific subjects but also the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and accessible way.
I tutor English, Italian, and science subjects for middle and high school students, both in person in Sherbrooke and online. Every lesson is tailored to the student's individual needs, learning pace, and goals. Whether the objective is to improve grades, prepare for an exam, strengthen study skills, or simply gain confidence, I provide a supportive, patient, and motivating learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making progress.
I believe that every student can succeed with the right guidance, encouragement, and a teaching approach that makes learning engaging, practical, and enjoyable. My goal is not only to help students achieve better academic results but also to inspire curiosity, independence, and confidence that will benefit them long after the lesson is over.

I believe that learning is most effective when it becomes an engaging, practical, and enjoyable experience. My approach to tutoring English, Italian, and science subjects for middle and high school students combines a structured methodology with interactive, hands-on lessons tailored to each student's individual needs, learning style, and goals. My objective is not only to help students improve their grades but also to develop a genuine understanding of the material, build strong study habits, and gain confidence in their abilities. I encourage curiosity, critical thinking, and active participation, turning mistakes into valuable learning opportunities. Whether lessons are held in person in Sherbrooke or online, I strive to create a positive, supportive, and motivating environment where students can learn with enthusiasm, develop a passion for knowledge, and build skills that will benefit them far beyond the classroom.
