About Tuan
I started tutoring in high school, and I have been doing this for more than 5 years. The main reason making me an experienced tutor is that I have been through various stages of a learner. In high school, I participated in different levels of competitions in Chemistry from regional to national and even international. After that, I spent a year for self-studying English and college examinations including TOEFL, SAT, and SAT subject tests. These opportunities helped me to equip an excellent foundation of knowledge and test-taking skills.
I first agreed to tutor Chemistry for younger students, who wanted to compete in the national Olympiad, and from then, I fall in love with this job. I had almost 3 years working directly with the high school students before going to the U.S. During the time I stayed in college, I still tutored kids in my high school online (via emails, blogs, Skype, etc.). In my last academic year, I worked as a Chemistry and Math Tutor and as a Chemistry Teaching Assistant. After finished my degree, I came back home for 5 months and taught English for students who want to take IELTS or TOEFL.

I confidently believe that I am a great tutor, who can help students to improve their knowledge and test-taking skills. Nonetheless, an important thing, which many tutors don’t pay attention to, is that students sometimes have struggles because of their mental problem including stresses, oppression, and ugly memories with subjects, etc. As a result, it requires more effort to eliminate the root of the problem. I devised my very special technique, with which I could comprehend what is the biggest challenge in learning for a tutee and give him/her advice to promote a healthy mind.
