About Gia Charlize
Hi, I’m Teacher Gia, a Child Development Educator with a degree in Family Life and Child Development. I love guiding preschoolers and early graders to discover the joy of learning through playful, confidence‑building lessons.
I’m very much a child at heart — I like to craft, keep up with the trends, still love to play, and I find inspiration in the little things. I collect children’s books and toys, and I enjoy visiting playgrounds because they remind me that learning should always feel fun, curious, and full of wonder.
Families can count on me to bring professionalism with genuine joy, creating lessons that connect school and home while nurturing both growth and happiness.

Teaching method: I use a play‑based and inquiry‑driven approach, blending structured lessons with interactive activities. My techniques include storytelling, hands‑on experiments, and guided practice, ensuring children not only understand concepts but also enjoy the process of learning. I emphasize positive reinforcement and adapt strategies to each child’s developmental stage.
Typical lesson plan: A session begins with a short warm‑up activity to spark curiosity, followed by a focused lesson on a key concept (e.g., a math problem or a science experiment). I then guide practice through games, worksheets, or real‑life applications, and end with reflection — encouraging the child to share what they learned and how they can apply it at home.
What sets me apart: My background in Family Life and Child Development allows me to see learning as part of a child’s holistic growth. I don’t just teach content; I help children build confidence, resilience, and curiosity. I also involve families by suggesting simple home activities, so learning continues beyond the classroom.
Who the lessons are for: My lessons are designed for preschoolers (ages 3–6) and early graders (ages 5–9), with special strengths in science and math. I also support families who want guidance on creating nurturing home environments that reinforce classroom learning.
