About Yiru

With dual MA degree in Branding and Film Studies, I am a native Chinese speaker and proficient in English. I passed the written component of the Chinese teaching examination 10 years ago and have experience in language exchange with English speakers.

I enjoy travelling, watching films, and studying geography and culture. I believe that the process of language teaching and learning is a rewarding journey that helps us explore and understand different cultures.

About the lesson

1. Start from learning basic words for the Chinese learner to establish the basic structure and build up confidence. 2. To explain the logic of the language for learners to understand the language more effectively. 3. Keep speaking on any casual topics to make sure the learner is using language.
