About Yimeng
I had worked for several seminars on Chinese Language and Culture for diplomats and officials from different countries, and organized Mandarin Workshops for Mexican university students before I came to Australia. I have been giving private Mandarin lessons in Sydney for 4 years and each of my students has shown remarkable progress only after three weeks of lessons.
I completed my study in English and Spanish languages and literature in China and was in Spain and Mexico on exchange. I used to work at Beijing International Chinese College and Spanish Culture Center in Beijing. I know exactly what it's like to learn a language, and I love helping people understand my language and culture. It is my passion!

Perfect! Yimeng is an excellent teacher that is very friendly, personable and professional. Some positives of Yimeng's teaching that I have benefited from are:
1) Good English skills as well as Mandarin.
2) Makes the lesson personal to yourself i.e. your own hobbies, likes / dislikes, job etc
3) Can explain a word or concept in multiple different ways which is particularly helpful if you don't understand it in the first instance

Perfect! I get along really well with Yimeng and very happy with all the lessons I had with her. Yimens’s teaching method and her explanations are very approachable and easy to understand with a lot of examples. She shows me how native speakers would usually speak. I found every lesson I had with Yimeng useful in my daily life and felt that my Mandarin level has improved pretty much thanks to Yimeng She is willing to answer and provide me further knowledge about anything I’m confused with or interested in. I definitely would continue to have more lessons with her. Yimeng has a very bright, thoughtful and friendly personality, she is patient, kind, yet a dedicated and professional teacher. Responsible, accurate and hardworking person. Highly recommended.
Yimeng is an excellent person and a teacher as well!! She is very nice and kind. By the way she knows how to speak English and Spanish very well, I can say this because I had her as a partner in Mexico during one year and she taught me a lot, I reallly appreciate hers lessons.
Hello. We met with Yimeng at courses for young diplomats in China. During the seminar she coordinated us. She was responsible for her duties, helped a whole group. Very responsive, smiling, sociable. We were very comfortable working with her.
