About Lindsay

I am a music student with a desire to provide the motivation and structure needed for my students to enjoy learning the clarinet. I have been teaching online and in-person lessons privately for 4+ years, with most experience at the middle school and high school levels. Now is a great time to make music, so I would be thrilled to help you or your child make and achieve your musical goals!

About the lesson

Each of my lessons are tailored to each student’s individual needs and interests. My students and I create realistic goals, which we achieve by creating a weekly plan with personalized exercises and songs. Although I approach technique, scales and music-reading very seriously, I find my students are most excited to learn when we play together and dive into aspects of the clarinet they find most interesting.

I studied with Lindsay for junior and senior year of high school, and am now a colleague of hers at the University of Florida where I have seen her work with a variety of students. She was very helpful when I prepared for honor band auditions (which included scales and etudes) and worked on college level clarinet solos. I highly recommend Lindsay because she is very knowledgable, clear with expectations, and patient with her students.
