About Sara
Hey there! As someone who's gone from teaching in traditional classrooms to tutoring from an RV across America (and now traveling Mexico!), I can tell you that learning a language is quite the adventure - I'm currently tackling Spanish myself! Along with language learning, I also enjoy fiber crafts, nature, and swimming. Over my time teaching, I've discovered that the best learning happens when we're having fun and connecting as real people. To this day, my son still says that Sara is one of the best teachers he's ever had! She is knowledgeable, patient, kind, and willing to try different ways to assure the material is understood. Teaching is her super power!
Sara was my son's 5th grade classroom teacher back in 2017-2018. He still says she was his favorite lower elementary teacher and can still vividly remember some projects the worked on. In his words, "Sara was fun, creative, a good listener and helped to teach me to take ownership of my learning experience."
