About Nathan
I have taught university level composition writing for 20+ years and have written and published my poetry. I am passionate about teaching writing and literature and view writing as a process oriented activity, rather than a product oriented task. I use an experiential approach and maintain that writing is a practical skill that must be used and developed every day, and that revision plays a vital role in writing excellence. I use form to teach purpose of writing and try to make writing fun, whether the assignment is empirical research or a villanelle.
