About Jordyn
After tutoring my peers and family members in understanding grammar and establishing a consistent foundation in writing, I learned better ways in helping my students gain success in English. The best part about teaching is watching my students learn and excel! As they learn, grow, and find confidence within themselves, I, as an instructor, learn as well. Education is a learning experience for everyone. While encouraging and continuing my student's drive to learn or simply reinforce a lesson, I believe anyone can learn anything. I will help to the best of my abilities as we learn new ways to help you learn your material!

As an English tutor, I believe with good communication and lesson plans crafted for the student’s learning process will create a successful learning experience. I like to begin with the student’s current knowledge of the topic, what they believe they know, and what they believe they do not understand at all. This will help the student(s) and I make better use of the time we have available, learn a good foundation of where to begin, and how to reinforce the material.
