About Plamena
I'm a 19-year-old college student looking to help those willing to better their grades and expand their knowledge in math, science and chemistry. I have lived in Canada for the past 9 years and I have had the chance to perfect my French and English during that time. I am currently in a health science college program and teaching those subjects from a middle school to college level.

When I'm tutoring in math, science, or chemistry, I like to make the lessons more fun by implementing fun learning games into my teaching plans, as well as explaining scientific concepts in a simplified way with analogies. As for math and chemistry, I begin by presenting the student with the theory and testing them with problems and quizzes varying in difficulty, adapting them to the student's level as they advance. These lessons are for those who are looking to improve their grades or maintain a high average.

Plamena helped me so much with my CEGEP chemistry course (202-NYB-05). She explains things in a really clear way and her way of illustrating the concepts makes it easy to understand even the hard stuff. Before a big test, she went over everything I was stuck on, and I ended up doing way better than I thought I would. She's super patient and genuinely cares, so if you need help in chemistry, I’d definitely recommend her.
