About Laura
I have a vast background and experience in English at all grade levels and ages. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, a Master of Arts in Teaching English to Speakers of other Languages, and postgraduate reading courses. I have been tutoring and teaching English since I was 17 years old, and I thoroughly enjoy helping others with learning and mastering the English language skills.
On a more personal level, I enjoy spending time with my family and our three furry friends, a German Shepherd, a mini schnauzer, and a pug-beagle mix. I enjoy reading and swimming, but most of all, I relish spending time with my family!

Reading and the English language are my two personal and professional passions. I love to read, and I love to teach! I taylor my sessions with the individual learner needs in mind, and I have over 25 years experience teaching and tutoring both K-12, college, and university students in both reading and ESL at all levels.
As reading and language skills are vital in academia and in our personal and professional lives, I can help you navigate any letters, assignments, projects, essays, presentations, or homework you might have. My primary goal is to help you meet your individual needs successfully.
