I prefer to engage my students in understanding the context of what they are studying, engaging in strategies and processes, and then guided examples/questions; I prefer to use the material they are currently given in class and work through it with the steps discussed above.

Rebeca is extremely gentle and patient! And as someone who excels with step by step explanations, this quality is extremely helpful. Rebeca is kind— never once has Rebeca made me feel less than or inferior. Rather, she would constantly encourage me to work at being not only the best student possible, but also the best version of myself. Rebeca is very thorough in any job or task she is given. She puts forth her best efforts with optimum integrity and attentiveness. I am truly inspired by Rebeca!
