About Mary
I am a student who has been tutoring middle and high school students in several subjects for about three years. After being trained to tutor writing through my school's writing center, I've helped students craft analytical and persuasive essays they were proud of. As a college student, I am extremely passionate about learning. I especially enjoy helping other students understand concepts they may be struggling with and gain confidence in their abilities.

As a tutor, I prefer my sessions to be interactive. I often ask a lot of questions to prompt students towards understanding and to gauge how well they understand the material. Because I am also currently a student, I often use my personal experiences to share learning tips or tricks that have helped me and other students I've worked with. I enjoy exploring academics and I like to help my students have fun with their work as well!
