About Mia

I am a 19-year-old college student in Montreal with extensive tutoring experience and a background as a teacher’s aide in an elementary school. Having moved between different countries and school systems throughout my childhood, I understand the challenges of learning a new language. I am compassionate, patient, and understanding, and I approach each tutoring session with confidence and enthusiasm.

With a deep love for my French culture and a proven track record of helping students succeed, I am dedicated to making your French learning journey enjoyable and effective. Let's work together to achieve your language goals and make learning French a fun and rewarding experience. I am excited to help you succeed!

About the lesson

I have experience tutoring students aged 6 to 18, adapting my approach to meet their individual needs. I prioritize essential tasks first, such as completing homework and addressing specific skill areas. Once these priorities are met, I strive to make learning enjoyable by incorporating the student's personal interests. For instance, if a student needs to improve their speaking or reading skills, I use materials related to their hobbies and passions. This method not only makes learning more engaging but also helps students connect with the material on a deeper level.
