About Catherine
I have been teaching social studies on the middle and high school levels for 30 years. I have a BS degree in Social Sciences and a MS degree in Educational Administration. Most of my career has been working with students who have ADHD, ADD, and other learnings difficulties. I have the ability to break down a concept to help my students understand what was happening. I also will push you to expand your thinking skills to go beyond what you thought you could do. Come explore history with me.

Not only will we discuss the "what" happened, but also the "why" it happened. By watching short video clips by widely respected professionals in their subjects, you will experience what it was like to live during that time. No more just memorizing facts and dates. We will understand History by seeing it from the eyes of the victims, bystanders, upstanders (those who tried to make a change), and the perpetrators. History will have a whole new meaning when you complete one of my lessons.
