About Mercy Christine

l am Teacher Christine and l love teaching children and young adults the English language. l became an English teacher because l believe that learning English opens doors. It builds confidence, helps children express themselves, and connects them to the wider world. l remember how it felt when learned the English language. My elementary English teacher was very patient with me and this helped me build my confidence.

What I enjoy most is the moment a learner understands something new and lights up with pride. That is why I keep my lessons interactive, patient, and fun, so every learner feels safe to try, make mistakes, and grow.

I would love to help your child build a strong foundation in English while enjoying the journey.

About the lesson

Hello! I teach English to children aged 4 to 10 to young adults, from complete beginners to those building confidence in reading, writing, and speaking. I have six years of experience teaching children and young adults. My lessons are interactive and fun, using demonstration, clear explanation, and “learn by teaching,” where learners explain new words and ideas back to me so they truly understand them. I use songs, games, and stories to keep young learners engaged. Lessons usually last 1 to 2 hours, with short breaks and varied activities to keep learners focused.

I hold a 120-hour TEFL certificate and a 12-hour certificate in teaching English at primary level. I am skilled at creating creative lesson plans, using a range of teaching strategies, and building a supportive, encouraging environment where every learner feels comfortable to learn.
