About Alejandro
Hello, I'm Alejandro! I have more than 4 years providing private consulting to students of all levels and I am currently studying computer engineering at the UNAM Faculty of Engineering.
My greatest interests are programming, technology, video games and music. Mathematics is the glue that unites all my tastes and I love transmitting my passion for it to others!

During my career I discovered that I am passionate about transmitting my knowledge to others. I teach all my students with didactics that make it easier for them to understand, retain and apply knowledge. In this way, the student generates confidence in their knowledge and allows them to develop logical thinking to solve problems.
The classes consist of learning theoretical concepts, analyzing them and applying them to solve problems. Considering that each student is different, I adapt to their characteristics and needs so that the sessions are more effective.
The sessions take place online through zoom, google meet or the student's preferred platform as follows:
1. Log in and share my screen with the most important concepts from the last class. I ask if there are any questions about the last session as I briefly summarize them.
2. After answering the questions at the beginning, I present the topic of the session and we take note of the theory.
3. After writing down the theoretical concepts, we analyze what is written to understand it and become familiar with the language that will be used in the exercises.
4. We solve 2 or 3 exercises together where I explain in detail the reasoning used; in turn, create notes with tips as appropriate. If necessary, we do more examples until the student feels confident.
5. The student solves more exercises on his or her own and asks any questions while working.
Following steps 2 and 3 ensures that the student fulfills the learning-to-learn part of didactics, making the theoretical knowledge his own. Then, with steps 4 and 5, the student learns to do things by applying what is seen in theory and grounding the information in practical problems.
Due to the content of the topics, I encourage students to have water, eat a sweet, get some air, get up from their chair, and take short breaks throughout the session to keep their minds fresh.
Finally, the material for the classes can be that which the student works on in their classes or I can propose different books and resources from the UNAM digital library.
