I am a patient, dedicated, and encouraging English tutor who believes that every student can become a confident reader and communicator with the right guidance and support.
I specialize in helping students strengthen their reading, spelling, phonics, vocabulary, grammar, and reading comprehension. My teaching style is friendly, structured, and personalized to each student’s individual learning level and goals.
I understand that students learn at different speeds, so I never make a student feel embarrassed for making mistakes. Instead, I use simple explanations, repetition, practice, and positive encouragement to help students understand difficult concepts and build lasting confidence.
My lessons are carefully prepared and focused on measurable improvement. Whether your child is learning to read, struggling with spelling, working on comprehension, or simply wants to become a stronger English student, I will meet them where they are and help them progress step by step.
Your child’s success is my priority. My goal is not only to improve academic skills, but also to help students develop the confidence to read aloud, participate in class, express themselves clearly, and enjoy learning.

My Teaching Method and Techniques
I use a student-centered, step-by-step approach to make English reading, spelling, and literacy simple, enjoyable, and easy to understand.
My lessons combine:
* Phonics and sound recognition to help students connect letters with sounds.
* Reading practice using age-appropriate stories, passages, and books.
* Spelling strategies that help students recognize patterns instead of simply memorizing words.
* Vocabulary building to improve comprehension and confidence.
* Reading comprehension through questions, discussions, and retelling.
* Writing exercises to strengthen sentence structure, grammar, and communication.
* Repetition and review so students remember what they learn.
* Interactive activities and games to keep younger learners engaged.
* Personalized instruction based on each student’s current reading level, strengths, and areas that need improvement.
I adjust the pace of every lesson to the individual student. My goal is not just to help students get the correct answer, but to help them understand why the answer is correct.
A Typical Lesson Plan
A typical 45–60 minute lesson may include:
1. Warm-up – 5 minutes
Quick review of previously learned words, sounds, or reading skills.
2. Phonics & Spelling – 10 minutes
Practice letter sounds, spelling patterns, sight words, and commonly misspelled words.
3. Reading – 15 minutes
Read a short passage or story together. I help the student sound out unfamiliar words, improve pronunciation, and develop fluency.
4. Reading Comprehension – 10 minutes
Discuss the passage and answer questions to make sure the student understands what they read.
5. Vocabulary & Writing – 10 minutes
Learn new vocabulary and use the words in sentences or a short writing activity.
6. Review & Practice – 5 minutes
Review what was learned and identify one or two skills to practice before the next lesson.
Lessons can be adjusted depending on the student’s age, goals, attention span, and learning needs.
What Sets Me Apart as a Tutor
What sets me apart is my ability to break difficult concepts into small, easy-to-understand steps.
I believe students learn best when they feel comfortable making mistakes and asking questions. I create a positive, patient environment where students can build confidence while developing real skills.
I don’t use a one-size-fits-all approach. I identify where a student is struggling, explain the concept in a different way when necessary, and provide plenty of guided practice.
My goal is to help students become independent, confident readers and communicators, rather than simply helping them complete their homework.
