About Tigran
Hi, I’m Tigran. I’m a software engineer based in Los Angeles, working at a globally recognized tech company. I’ve been in the industry for over 10 years, building everything from mobile apps to full-scale web platforms. My background is in communication and journalism—not computer science—so I know what it means to come into tech from a non-traditional path. I’m self-taught, passionate, and driven by curiosity. That journey helps me connect with students from all walks of life, especially those without a STEM background. If I could do it, you can too—and I’m here to guide you every step of the way.

As a tutor, I focus on making computer science accessible, especially for non-STEM students. I break down complex topics into everyday examples—no jargon, just clarity. A typical lesson includes real-world analogies, hands-on exercises, and interactive Q&A. My approach builds confidence before code. Whether you're a humanities student, adult learner, or just curious about how tech works, I tailor each session to your pace and background. What sets me apart is empathy—I’ve worked with total beginners and helped them build strong digital literacy. My name is Tigran, and I believe anyone can learn the logic behind computers, no matter their starting point.
