About Tyler
I am a 17 year old A-level student taking Computer Science, Physics and Mathematics. ABB respectively as my working grades. I do mentoring for younger students in my school for general tips, Maths and revision guides to help the child even after my sessions.
I like to add bits of a fun aspect to learning of which I adapt to whatever the student is struggling on to make it easier to explain and hopefully remember and understand what is going on.
For my careers wise, my main plan is to be an airline pilot as I wish to explore the world. My second plan is to be a game developer either making my own games or being a part of a team in a company like Rockstar and develop games that way.

In the typical lesson, I will build on previous notes, outline mistakes and work to improve logical problem solving instead of memorising methods to every issue. This way it helps build knowledge of how to break down a problem and approach it with a more open mind.
From here there are two things we can do, either; Computer Repairs or Computer Science academic work that you need for GCSEs or making your year 9 choices for year 10-11. (Can do mix if needed)
Preferably over the age of 10 but able to go younger. Unable to tutor anyone above the age of 16.

My lessons will default to 60 minutes long or can be bought as a bundle.
Plans:
60m x 1 - £12
60m x 5 - £50
60m x 10 - £90
These will only be on weekdays from 4-8pm or weekends when available (contact for more information)

If unhappy about the service, we can negotiate on what to do going forward.
If needed, trusted parent/guardian may observe first 1-3 sessions.

Tyler has been a student of mine for the past few years and shows an uncanny aptitude for math and computer science. Tyler has always stood out among his cohort with his ability to break down complex topics into digestible bits of information. In particular, there was a lesson covering the algorithmic nature of a commonly used data structure in the course, where everyone struggled, but Tyler was able to access the topic with ease.
As someone who has known Tyler for almost 5 years now, he is a great, sociable, and clever person, highly capable of decomposing complicated topics into simple algorithmic steps, which helps greatly when tackling most problems.
I've personally watched Tyler tutor other students before, and he has recieved commendation by teachers at our school for helping out other students.
He also volunteers as vice president at our school's Computer Science club, helping out GCSE with coding their NEA projects, or homework whenever a student needs it.View more recommendations
