• Can you tell us about your first experience using a computer?

  I was 12 years old when my father gave me an Acer computer as a reward for my academic achievements. It was a hot summer afternoon, and after turning it on, I spent days exploring all its features. It felt magical to be able to do everything on my own, without needing any help. That computer changed my life and led me to discover my passion for technology.

• What is the technological evolution that has marked you most and what will be, in your eyes, a turning point in this field?

  Artificial intelligence (AI) is rapidly becoming one of the most important technologies for the near future. Thanks to its machine learning and data analysis capabilities, AI can provide solutions across a wide range of sectors—from healthcare and security to automation and finance. Furthermore, AI can be used to improve efficiency and productivity, reduce errors, and provide better support for decision-making. Consequently, AI represents a significant opportunity for companies and organizations to enhance their processes and reach new levels of innovation.

• Explain your expertise, your interest in it and, more broadly, its importance in the computer world.

  I have specialized in the fields of websites, apps, and the Internet of Things (IoT), achieving notable success throughout my career. I have sold several websites and launched numerous apps, including one that reached 15,000 paying users. I have also developed IoT solutions, recognizing the importance of this emerging technology. The IoT offers a tremendous opportunity for innovation and the development of new products and services, ultimately improving people's quality of life. I am convinced that the IoT will continue to revolutionize many sectors in the future, and I am excited to be a part of it.

• Do so-called 'visionaries', such as Bill Gates, Steve Jobs and Mark Zuckerberg inspire you or do you have other role models?

  Steve Jobs was, without a doubt, one of the greatest entrepreneurs in modern history. His vision, charisma, and capacity for innovation transformed Apple into one of the most innovative and profitable companies in the world. He succeeded in creating products that changed the way we live, work, and enjoy ourselves. Jobs had the courage to challenge the status quo and pursue his vision with tenacity, taking innovation to new heights. He built an iconic brand and inspired a generation of entrepreneurs.

• Provide a valuable anecdote related to your subject or your days at school.

  Earning my first income from the websites and apps I sold was a moment of great satisfaction. Having created something of value for others—and seeing it appreciated—gave me a strong motivation to keep doing what I love. Knowing that my ideas can have a positive impact on other people's lives has driven me to constantly improve my skills and seek out new opportunities.

• What would you say to an uncomfortable person in front of a screen who says that "IT is too complicated"?

  I understand that computer science might seem complicated at first glance, but in reality, it is simply a collection of straightforward elements brought together in a creative and intelligent way. Rather than being intimidated by its complexity, we should approach computer science with curiosity and a desire to learn. Studying it can be incredibly rewarding, as it enables us to create new things and solve problems in innovative ways.

• What are your other passions, related or non-related to computers?

  I am a computer engineering student with a passion for building apps and websites, which I then publish or sell on my own. Outside of that, I play soccer in the *Seconda Categoria* league and spend time with my friends. I am particularly interested in designing and creating innovative solutions within the fields of IoT (Internet of Things) and home automation, utilizing advanced automation systems.

• What makes you a Superprof in IT?

  I am well aware that artificial intelligence has become an increasingly significant part of our world. Nevertheless, I have always believed that there are certain qualities that only human beings possess—for instance, the capacity for creative thinking, the ability to show empathy, and the power of intuition. It is these characteristics that set us apart from machines and allow us to reach profound levels of knowledge and understanding. As a mentor, I strive to guide students not only in their understanding of advanced technologies, but also in their development as professionals and as unique individuals.
