About Roshni
I am a Final Year Ph.D. Candidate in the Dept. of Computer Science at UCLA. My research interest lies in the intersection of machine learning and data mining, and is supported by both the Amazon PhD Fellowship and NSF PhD Fellowship. Before joining UCLA as a Ph.D. student, I received my Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from UC Berkeley. Additionally, I have spent several years working in the industry including interning as an Applied Scientist at Amazon (Alexa AI division), a Research Scientist at Intel, and also serving in various software engineering roles.
I am passionate about teaching, and have served as a TA for several computer science and data science courses at both UCLA and UC Berkeley. I am a patient person and believe in adapting my teaching style to best suit the needs of my students. Looking forward to working with you.
