About Oscar
In high school, I was an avid musician with a strong love of all things technology related. I graduated with an OP 3 in 2017 and now I study Computer Science (Maj. Cyber Security) at UQ. I have been teaching people maths, programming, writing and other academic pursuits for as long as I can remember. In high school, I mentored students learning skills in tech support. I am familiar with the approach to Highschool level humanities subjects (History, Philosophy, etc) as well as adept in the maths and sciences (math A, B, C, Phys, Chem). In the Technology space, I would be able to tutor in microelectronics, robotics, C, Java, Python, Unix, Databases (both NOSQL and SQL) and proper programming practices.

I am always excited about the material I tutor, I wouldn't teach it if I couldn't sell my own interest in it. My lessons are geared towards both students who are enthusiastic about material as well as hesitant due to problems understanding the concepts. My lesson structures would be personally geared towards you as a student with a primary focus on teaching fundamentals by example so you can extrapolate at your own pace. My philosophy is that having a good understanding of core concepts is the best way to have a strong understanding of complex topics (as well as remembering why it is correct).
