About Hannah
I am currently an undergraduate at the University of Michigan, working towards a computer science degree. I will not pretend to be a straight A student, but I believe that is what sets me apart. I have struggled and studied hard to learn these concepts, and that struggle has only reinforced my understanding of programming. You don't have to be afraid to voice your questions; I was right there with you.
I have had two years of prior tutoring experience, teaching math and English during high school. During this time I worked with students with varying understandings of the subject matter and I learned to adapt my teaching style to fit the need of the students. I enjoyed working with the students and watching their mastery of the subject grow.

These lesson are perfect for complete beginners to computer programming. We will start from the very fundamentals of the coding language, like variables and functions, and work up towards cooler and more complex concepts, like object classes. With each lesson, the student will be given a lecture style lesson, practice problems, and when they have learned enough concepts, a project to tie all the concepts together and give practical application what they have learned.
My experience as a relatively new programmer gives me the perspective necessary to work with someone who has never coded before. I am able to explain programming concepts in accessible terms as someone who vividly remembers how it felt to learn C++ with no prior knowledge. Programming can be daunting, but together we can tackle and conquer it!
