Welcome! I’m Krish, a dedicated Mathematics and Science tutor with a passion for empowering students to achieve their academic goals. As a second-year Computer Science student at Lancaster University, I bring a strong foundation in STEM subjects, along with practical experience gained from tutoring at Premier Learning Bradford since September 2022. My commitment to professionalism is reflected in my personalised approach to each student. I employ a student-centred approach to tutoring, which means I focus on understanding each student's unique learning style and adapting my teaching techniques accordingly. I use a combination of interactive problem-solving, real-world applications, and visual aids to make complex concepts more accessible. I emphasise active engagement during lessons by encouraging students to ask questions and think critically about the material. Additionally, I incorporate formative assessments to gauge understanding and adjust my teaching pace as needed. Each lesson typically lasts between 60 to 90 minutes. This duration allows us to cover topics in depth while providing enough time for practice and discussion. I often include breaks if a session extends beyond an hour to keep students refreshed and focused. I am currently a second-year Computer Science student at Lancaster University, where I have developed a solid foundation in mathematics and science. I have been tutoring at Premier Learning Bradford since September 2022, where I’ve helped students achieve significant improvements in their grades—an average increase of two grades, with 37% of my students achieving A grades. My background in programming and data analysis enables me to provide insights into STEM subjects, enriching the learning experience. I offer tutoring for students of all ages, primarily focusing on secondary school levels (ages 11-118) and those preparing for GCSEs / A Levels. I work with students in mathematics and science subjects, ensuring that they gain both confidence and competence in their studies.
