About Shokhrukh

I finished my first semester failing 3 classes, getting GPA 2.1 and almost dropping out of school. That's when I knew I had to change something.
In the second semester, I haven't missed a single class for Calculus and Physics, attended office hours and always was in touch with my professors. I got A+ for every single subject that semester. I am a firm believer in that with hard work - everything is possible.
I am not the smartest person on the planet, so if I can do it - you can do it too.

About the lesson

Teaching Method and Techniques:
When it comes to teaching, I prioritize creating a learning environment where students feel both challenged and supported. I recognize that every individual absorbs information differently, and as such, I adapt my methods to fit the unique needs of each student. By combining structured lessons with open-ended questions, I encourage students to think critically and develop problem-solving skills.

Typical Lesson Plan:

Objective Setting: Every session starts with clear objectives, ensuring that both my student and I are aligned on the day's goals.
Engage and Explore: I kick off with a thought-provoking question or a real-world example related to the topic, sparking curiosity.
Direct Instruction: Employing a mix of visual aids, practical examples, and interactive discussions, I break down complex concepts into understandable components.
Collaborative Learning: Students collaborate on problems or discussions, allowing them to learn from each other's perspectives and reasonings.
Practice & Reinforcement: I believe in 'learning by doing'. Therefore, I integrate hands-on exercises and mini-projects to solidify understanding.
Reflection & Feedback: Each lesson concludes with a reflection phase, where students share their takeaways, doubts, or insights, fostering a continuous feedback loop.
What Sets Me Apart:
What differentiates me as a tutor is my commitment to not just imparting knowledge but also instilling a love for learning. My sessions are not just about understanding a topic but about cultivating a mindset of inquiry and perseverance. I draw from my own experiences as a Computer Science student, offering both academic insights and personal anecdotes that make the learning process relatable and engaging.

Target Audience:
While my core expertise lies in tutoring Computer Science topics, my approach is versatile, catering to both beginners and advanced students. Whether it's a freshman grappling with foundational concepts or a senior diving deep into fintech or blockchain intricacies, I tailor my sessions to meet them where they are, ensuring that each lesson is both accessible and challenging.
