My lessons are friendly, organized, and tailored to your goals, whether you’re learning for travel, work, or everyday conversation. I focus on clear explanations, practical vocabulary, and lots of guided speaking practice, so you’re not just learning Spanish—you’re actually using it. Teaching Method & Techniques
My approach is conversational, practical, and student-centered. I focus on helping students use Spanish confidently rather than memorizing rules in isolation. Lessons are immersive and interactive, combining real-life vocabulary, guided conversation, listening practice, and simple grammar explanations that actually make sense. I adapt my teaching style to each student’s learning pace, goals, and interests, using repetition, visual cues, and everyday scenarios to reinforce learning naturally.
Typical Lesson Plan
Each lesson is structured but flexible:
Warm-up conversation to build confidence and activate prior knowledge
Target topic or skill (vocabulary, grammar, or pronunciation) introduced in context
Guided practice through dialogue, role-play, or short exercises
Real-life application (ordering food, introductions, work situations, travel scenarios, etc.)
Review & takeaway so students leave knowing exactly what they learned and how to practice between sessions
Lessons are designed to feel engaging, supportive, and productive—never overwhelming.
What Sets Me Apart as a Tutor
What makes me different is my ability to explain Spanish in a simple, relatable way while keeping lessons practical and confidence-building. As a bilingual tutor, I understand where learners commonly get stuck and how to bridge the gap between English and Spanish naturally. I create a relaxed, judgment-free environment where mistakes are encouraged as part of the learning process, helping students feel comfortable speaking from day one.
Who My Lessons Are For
My lessons are ideal for:
Beginners with no prior Spanish experience
Students at basic to intermediate levels who want to improve speaking and comprehension
Adults learning Spanish for travel, work, daily communication, or personal growth
Students who feel nervous speaking and want a supportive, encouraging tutor
No degree or prior knowledge is required—just a willingness to learn and practice. Lessons are customized to fit each student’s goals, whether conversational fluency, confidence, or real-world usage.
