About David

You set the pace and goals, and I will regularly check in with you about how our partnership is working for you. My approach is experiential, which means you work on practical problem-solving using relevant examples. I am new to online tutoring, preferring face to face, so bear with me.

About the lesson

I trained as a school teacher 30 years ago, and opted to move into community education to teach individuals who struggle with standard approaches to learning. I retrained as a counsellor to include a deeper level of listening to students who are having emotional difficulties to manage stress, anxiety and chronic illness. I recently retrained again as a mindfulness meditation teacher to offer self-care coping skills.

David's response
Nic was able to present and explore his challenge in detail in a way that led him to find a way forward and devise a plan of action.
