About Landen
I have been writing poetry and fiction for more than fifteen years, studying English at the University of Florida, earning a master's degree in poetry from Johns Hopkins, and publishing numerous poems in literary journals. I also currently serve as an assistant editor at a literary magazine, Smartish Pace. Additionally, I've taught English and creative writing to many different kinds of students, from non-English speakers to young learners to college students to adults. I am extremely passionate about creative writing, which means a respect for craft, grammar, and structure, while also knowing that sometimes breaking the rules is the best way to explore style and finding a unique literary voice. If you are interested in taking your writing and understanding of literature to the next level, I'd be more than excited to work with you!

I am a publishing writer with 15+ years of writing experience teaching creative writing, essay writing, and literary analysis to all ages 6 and up.
