I believe those don't like English or struggle with it have not had a teacher tell them the scope of the subject. I hope to instill a sense of boundlessness in my students, encouraging them to talk about their favourite texts through the lens of those they have to study, eventually finding the common thread that brings any and all literature and creative writing to life.

Isobel is a great tutor - she is very knowledgable in the subject that she teaches and is able to pass that knowledge on to her students in a clear and effective way. She is calm and patient and I highly recommend her as a tutor.
Isobel is so patient when it comes to her work and her students. She is so encouraging and allows you to go at your own pace until you fully understand the topic at hand.
Isobel creates such a comfortable and friendly space to be in and never judges you. All around, a genuinely kind person.View more recommendations
