About Ella

I am a professional hand knitting and crochet designer

After finishing my degree in Textile Design, I worked as an in house designer for Paintbox Yarns for three years before stepping into full time freelance design in October of 2022. In this time I have passed on my crafting skills to friends, family and colleagues as well as in various charity-run groups, and now it's your turn to learn!

With a deep love of colour, texture and tradition, yarn crafts have always held a special place in my heart and I absolutely love sharing that joy through designing my own patterns and teaching others to love them too.

Bespoke lessons, made for you ️ It's not one size fits all when it comes to crochet. That's why I'll tailor the lessons to your specific needs and goals. We'll learn at the pace that works for you.

Rock up to class in your pjs if you fancy Learn from anywhere! Dial in from a café, a park, the comfort of your bed; These lessons are crafted to be delivered with the flexibility of online learning.

Beginner to advanced, no matter your skill level, I'll be here to help! Whether it's your first time picking up a hook or you're looking to level up your skills, I'll guide you through every step to build your stitching confidence .

All you need to start is a hook and yarn, and we'll dive right in! Drop me a message for recommendations for supplies and we'll get started. I can't wait for our first lesson :)

I had almost given up on knitting after being confused about where I was going wrong and struggling to follow video tutorials on my own. As an almost beginner Ella was very patient with me and helped me learn the basics properly. She was so friendly and patient, and is clearly very knowledgeable about all things knitting. After just one lesson I am already feeling more confident with practicing by myself and am excited to start some new knitting projects, and maybe even some crochet!
