About Anna
Hello! I am a 4th year Applied Mathematics major. I began to tutor in high school, and throughout college worked at various tutoring centers and did private tutoring for high school mathematics as well. I've worked with students who needed to catch up and those who wanted to challenge themselves with higher level work. I've also helped students prepare for math competitions and created supplementary coursework for a student who wanted to prepare to take honors courses the following year. I have experience with learning disabilities, such as ADHD and Autism and tutor in order to increase underrepresented students' confidence in their skills.

I work with students to gain a true understanding of the topic, so that success does not rely on memorization, which works well for students who have trouble focusing and students with learning disabilities. For test prep, I go over tips and tricks that can help you improve your timing. I create personalized plans based on needs and if a student is missing a prerequisite skill, I work it into the lesson so we don't miss out on homework and current assignments while gaining mastery.
