About Amanda
Hi, my name is Amanda, and I am a college student. I am no stranger to being completely lost in a science class, and I am here to listen, not judge, but most importantly, help you understand. My goal is to teach you the concepts and give you the learning tools so that you don't need me anymore!

Students will join a Google Classroom where I will have useful videos, practice problems, Blooklets, and online flashcards to do during tutoring or while studying at home. I follow a very simple approach in tutoring; I teach the subject, help with homework assignments, and then review the concepts with engaging activities. My main objective is not only to explain concepts in a way the student will understand, but to also give them the tools to learn and study on their own. My lessons are for Chemistry and Biology, as well as AP Chemistry and Biology.
