About Makenna
I have taught multiple subjects throughout my career as a tutor, with grammar and chemistry being my most popular subjects. I inspire students to feel more confident in their decisions by using lots of encouragement and positive reinforcement. Whether a student is struggling with learning the material or confidence in their answer, I work with each student to meet their individual needs.

As a current college student with 3+ years of tutoring experience, all K-12 material is still relevant and fresh in mind. I have worked mostly with high schoolers, but I am excited to work with any age group, including college students. My goal is to learn the student individually and teach based on their strengths while improving their weaknesses. I will provide quick responses to immediate questions, and will work more slowly with those who want to understand their material on a deeper level.
