About Bonnie

I am a current high school senior with a long track record of academic excellence. I’m ranked 8th in my class of almost 400 and I have a 4.5 GPA. In the past year I have been awarded an academic award in Mathematics and was elected National Honor Society President. In the upcoming year I plan to major in Mathematics at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. With all this I am also a creative individual. In my free time I like to sew, crochet, and make jewelry.

About the lesson

My process is very simple:
I start with asking you for the simplest problem of the topic you’re struggling with. Together we will work through the problem slowly, or if you already understand that level we will be able to jump to the next step. We will then look back at the work used to solve the problem and write out a step by step process on paper. Finally, we work our way up to larger problems using the process we found and write more notes to remember along the way.

I have had the pleasure of knowing and working with Bonnie for many years, and I cannot say enough positive things about her. As a third-grade teacher, she has spent time in my classroom and has been an incredible help to both me and my students. Bonnie is patient, encouraging, and truly connects with children. As a tutor for my fifth-grade daughter, she has an exceptional ability to make challenging material easy to understand while building confidence and effective learning strategies. Bonnie genuinely cares about her students’ success and helps them reach their full potential. I would wholeheartedly recommend her as a tutor to any family in need of academic support.
