About Martina
Hi! I am Martina, a Year 12 student currently studying Biology, Chemistry, Maths, and Latin A levels. I am keen to help anyone in their GCSE journey (or younger) understand any difficult concepts they come across, and hopefully feel more confident in their abilities.

Hi! I offer friendly and supportive tutoring for students studying GCSE content, and younger students who want to strengthen their understanding and confidence before these examination years.
My lessons are tailored to each student’s needs, whether they need help understanding difficult topics, practising exam questions, revising for upcoming topic tests, or improving their exam technique (the most important!).
Lessons will typically start with a focus on the content, and then shift to working through past paper questions and activities, while explaining any difficult concepts we come across. Towards the end of the session, I focus on suggesting revision techniques and creating revision material, so the student could practise in their own time.
Having just completed GCSEs, I completely understand how extensive the content is, and how hard it can be to memorise all of it! Not only that, but exam technique plays a great deal in deciding grades. Having achieved all 9s (in maths, English literature, English language, biology, chemistry, physics, geography, history, Latin, Spanish), I am keen to help other students achieve their own targets by providing advice and sharing my own insights. For the past two years I have helped many of my friends in understanding a variety of concepts across subjects, as well as tutoring younger pupils in Maths, English, and Science.
I also moved school for sixth form (and now attend a highly academic and selective independent school in London), so would be happy to provide insight on the application process.
