About Sydney
Yes — this section is more about **why you’re qualified and trustworthy as a tutor**, rather than describing the lessons themselves. Since you’re a Northeastern student majoring in Communications, I’d use that as the main credibility point.
> I am currently a student at **Northeastern University**, majoring in **Communications**, where I continue to develop my skills in writing, reading, public speaking, and effective communication. As someone who is fluent in both English and Spanish, I understand how challenging it can be to learn and become comfortable with a new language. I’m patient, approachable, and committed to creating a comfortable learning environment where students feel confident asking questions and practicing their English. I want every lesson to be personalized to the student’s goals and learning style, whether they are looking to improve their conversation skills, writing, reading, or overall confidence in English.

Want to feel more confident using English? Whether you’re learning English as a new language, want to improve your speaking skills, or need help with reading and writing, I’m here to help! My lessons are relaxed, personalized, and focused on what you want to improve. We can practice everyday conversations, pronunciation, reading comprehension, grammar, writing, vocabulary, and more. I’ll work at your pace and create a comfortable environment where you can ask questions and make mistakes without feeling embarrassed. I’m fluent in both English and Spanish, so Spanish-speaking students are especially welcome! While I don’t teach Spanish, I understand how helpful it can be to have someone who speaks your language when learning English. My goal is to help you become a more confident and natural English speaker and writer!
